Bilingual report: July 25 — Free Fair Housing Workshop Hosted by VCCDC & the Housing Rights Center

OXNARD — The Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) will be hosting a Fair Housing workshop in collaboration with the Housing Rights Center on Tuesday, July 25th at 6pm at the VCCDC Home Ownership Center located at 2231 Sturgis Road, Suite A, Oxnard, CA 93030.

This is a free workshop open to anyone interested in learning about the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords. Attendees will learn about fair housing laws, illegal practices and tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities. Some of the topics that will be covered include

  • Evictions
  • Security Deposit
  • Repairs
  • Rent Increases
  • And more

 

The workshop will also be offered in Spanish on the same day and time (Tuesday, July 25th at 6pm). There is no cost to attend the workshop. Seats can be reserved by emailing ContactUs@vccdc.org or by calling (805) 273-7800.
