 Celebrating Student Success!Estefania and her family live at a PSHH property in San Luis Obispo County. In 8th grade, she joined CELEBRE, a PSHH education program aimed at equipping Latina students with the skills and resources to pursue higher education.
Since then, Estefania has been thriving and has become a leader among the students in the program. She is in her senior year of high school, has applied to multiple four year universities, and has already received acceptances to the California State University Northridge and Sacramento State University!
Estefania shared, “I’m proud to be a Latina and I hope that I can make an impact in our Hispanic community and motivate other Latinas to go to college… Anything is possible: you just need to put a little work into it.” |
