Environmental Justice Element
Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, the Planning and Development Department is requesting a continuance (reschedule) of the Environmental Justice Element (22GPA-00000-00003) item currently on the Board of Supervisors agenda for February 10, 2026. The requested hearing date is the March 10, 2026 Board of Supervisors meeting in Santa Maria.
Attendance and participation by the public is invited. The Draft EJ Element as well as additional information is on the project webpage: https://www.countyofsb.org/794/Environmental-Justice-Element. The public is strongly encouraged to review the current drafts and provide their comments to the Board of Supervisors in advance of or during the March 10th hearing. Staff greatly appreciates your continued engagement in the EJE Project.

Elemento de Justicia Ambiental
Debido a conflictos imprevistos en la programación, el Departamento de Planificación y Desarrollo solicita un aplazamiento (reprogramación) del punto del Elemento de Justicia Ambiental (22GPA-00000-00003) que figura actualmente en el orden del día de la Junta de Supervisores para el 10 de febrero de 2026. La fecha de audiencia solicitada es la reunión de la Junta de Supervisores del 10 de marzo de 2026 en Santa María.
Se invita al público a asistir y participar. El borrador del Elemento de Justicia Ambiental, así como información adicional, se encuentra en la página web del proyecto: https://www.countyofsb.org/794/Environmental-Justice-Element. Se recomienda encarecidamente al público que revise los borradores actuales y envíe sus comentarios a la Junta de Supervisores antes o durante la audiencia del 10 de marzo.
