SANTA BARBARA — Enroll Now for Fall 2018 at the D’Arezzo Community Center, Santa Barbara. Space is limited.

The D’Arezzo Community Center is a weekday Home School Enrichment Activities Program and a Daytime and after School Resource Center.

The Center provides a wealth of enrichment learning activities, and academic tutoring and support with a focus on The Humanities. This includes languages, literature, philosophy, geography, history, world religions, art, musicology, visual arts, filmmaking, photography, and music technology.  Youth will also have the opportunity to learn about life skills such as Financial Literacy, and Academic, Career and Goal Planning.

The Center serves people of all ages where they can gather to Innovate, Learn, Teach, Study, Create, Design, Compose, Collaborate, Share, Explore, Act, Perform, Participate, and Appreciate the Arts through creative expression in a safe environment.

Through our Civic Engagement Activities Program, every participant will have an opportunity to identify social issues, and join in projects that create awareness and positive change.

The Center has several different programs:

Program 1: The Music & Arts Conservatory has teamed up with Inspire Charter Schools to provide an Enrichment Specialty Program for home-based education students, grades 3 thru 12. Students of Inspire and other Charter Schools are able to register in this program that will operate Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Parents are welcome to join in with their children during the activities or they are able to drop them off during those days. We will have Certified Teachers assigned to work with students on their academic courses, as well as professional instructors and support staff on site.

Program 2: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM the center will serve as a Home School Club and Resource Center on a fee basis. Participants will have access to all our Center services and enrichment activities. We will also offer private lessons, opportunities to join music ensembles, theater, poetry, art, multi-media, cinematography, photography, a recording studio, music editing and more.

Program 3: From 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM we will open as an After School Program (fee based) offering many of the same enrichment activities, tutoring and support services, as well as opportunities to participate in private lessons, opportunities to join music ensembles, theater, poetry, art, multi-media, cinematography, photography, a recording studio, music editing and more.

Program 4: The Music & Arts Conservatory operates a fee based program on Saturdays offering a wide variety of Classical Training in Music Appreciation, Studio art and Portfolio Development, string, virtuoso, chamber group and vocal ensembles, ORFF, Solfege & Sight Singing, Music Theory and Composition, Theater Arts, Creative Writing, Poetry, and more.

Program 5: Community Education & Collaboration will be offered evenings in all our areas of expertise in the Humanities as well as courses in business, non profit management and Civic Engagement Collaboration.

We will have bilingual staff available to ensure opportunities for our entire community. Each week participants will have the opportunity to share with and/or perform their works for the public in our Performance & Exhibit Hall.

Home School Students can register with the Inspire Specialty Program (Tuesdays and Thursdays) that is fully funded. Inspire Specialty Program Students are provided with a dedicated Credentialed Teacher to guide and support their entire program including their academic and core studies.  All the other programs will be fee based, however our goal is to make them affordable and accessible.

SANTA BARBARA – – El Centro Comunitario D’Arezzo es un Programa de Actividades de Enriquecimiento de la Escuela en el Hogar entre semana y un Centro de Recursos diurno y después de la escuela.

El Centro ofrece una gran cantidad de actividades de enriquecimiento de aprendizaje y tutoría académica y apoyo con un enfoque en The Humanities. Esto incluye idiomas, literatura, filosofía, geografía, historia, religiones del mundo, arte, musicología, artes visuales, cine, fotografía y tecnología musical. Los jóvenes también tendrán la oportunidad de aprender sobre habilidades para la vida tales como la educación financiera y la planificación académica, profesional y de objetivos.

Programa 1: El Conservatorio de Música y Arte se ha asociado con las Escuelas Charter Inspire para proporcionar un Programa de Especialización de Enriquecimiento para estudiantes de educación en el hogar, grados 3 a 12. Los estudiantes de Inspire y otras Escuelas Charter pueden inscribirse en este programa que operará Martes y jueves de 9:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m. Los padres son bienvenidos a unirse con sus hijos durante las actividades o pueden dejarlos durante esos días. Tendremos Maestros Certificados asignados para trabajar con estudiantes en sus cursos académicos, así como también instructores profesionales y personal de apoyo en el sitio.

Programa 2: lunes, miércoles y viernes, de 9:00 a.m. a 2:30 p.m., el centro servirá como un Club de Educación en el Hogar y Centro de Recursos a cambio de una tarifa. Los participantes tendrán acceso a todos nuestros servicios del Centro y actividades de enriquecimiento. También ofreceremos clases privadas, oportunidades para unirse a conjuntos de música, teatro, poesía, arte, multimedia, cinematografía, fotografía, estudio de grabación, edición de música y más.

Programa 3: de 2:30 p.m. a 5:30 p.m. abriremos como un Programa Extracurricular(con tarifa) que ofrece muchas de las mismas actividades de enriquecimiento, tutoría y servicios de apoyo, así como oportunidades para participar en clases privadas, oportunidades para únase a conjuntos de música, teatro, poesía, arte, multimedia, cinematografía, fotografía, estudio de grabación, edición de música y más.

Programa 4: El Conservatorio de Música y Arte opera un programa de honorarios los sábados que ofrece una amplia variedad de Entrenamiento Clásico en Apreciación Musical, Arte de Estudio y Desarrollo de Portafolios, cuerda, virtuoso, grupo de cámara y conjuntos vocales, ORFF, Solfeo y Canto a la Vista, Teoría de la Música y Composición , Artes teatrales, Escritura creativa, Poesía y más.

Programa 5: Educación comunitaria y colaboración se ofrecerá por la noche en todas nuestras áreas de especialización en Humanidades, así como también en cursos de negocios, gestión sin fines de lucro y Colaboración de Compromiso Cívico.

Personal bilingüe estará disponible para asegurar oportunidades para toda nuestra comunidad. Cada semana, los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de compartir y / o realizar sus obras para el público en nuestra Sala de Presentaciones y Exhibiciones.
