RESTAURANTS CARE RESILIENCE FUND
Restaurants Care, a nonprofit program of the California Restaurant Foundation, is partnering with SoCalGas, PG&E and SDG&E to offer resilience grants to independent restaurants at the heart of our communities. To date, the Restaurants Care Resilience Fund has awarded grants to more than 2,050 California restaurants. Restaurants Care was created in 2017 as a safety-net for food and beverage workers. Grant Award:
$5,000 grants available for independent restaurants
2024 Grant Cycle Eligibility:
- California restaurant owned by a California resident
- 1 – 5 units
- Less than $3 million in annual revenue (combined/total for all units)
- A customer of SoCalGas, Pacific Gas and Electric or San Diego Gas and Electric
- Currently open
- Have been in business at least one full year
Application should only take 30-60 minutes to complete. The online application can be done on your phone and document upload can be images (cell phone photos).
