Bilingual report — Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) announces new board of directors members

ANNOUNCING NEW EDC BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBERS
The EDC Board of Directors is a select group of leaders invited to the table for their vision, passion and ability for setting priorities and positively impacting our region’s economic vitality. Board members participate peer-to-peer with visionary leaders, providing guidance and input into our organizational strategy and capacity for delivering outcome-driven economic development services.
We are thrilled to introduce three new Board of Director Members!
Member: Central Coast Labor Council
Representative: Jeremy Goldberg, Executive Director
The Central Coast Labor Council is a coalition of 70 labor unions and organizations throughout the Central Coast. Advocating for working families of Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, the council protects the right to representation in the workplace and the ability to democratically organize. Jeremy Goldberg, as the council’s executive director, is deeply involved in the local workforce and labor policy.
“I am looking forward to joining the EDC board. Our union members bring a lot of value to our regional economy but there are undoubtedly more resources out there for them. Being engaged with EDC opens us up to a breadth of knowledge and opportunity.” – Jeremy Goldberg
