Ventura County Behavioral Health, along with our partner, Jackson House, hosted a Ribbon Cutting Celebration and Open House to introduce a new Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) facility!
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the treatment and services provided at the CRT and the positive impact the expanded behavioral health services will have on our community.
Jackson House Santa Paula, slated to open its doors mid-November 2021, will provide the broader community a 24-hour treatment option that will serve as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. In some instances, it will provide the appropriate level of care to “step-down” from an inpatient setting while in others, its home-like, recovery-oriented environment, will provide the means to avoid psychiatric hospitalization.
Supervisor Kelly Long’s Office, CEO Mike Powers, VCBH Director Dr. Sevet Johnson, VCBH Chief of Adult Services Dr. John Schipper, and Jackson House partners participated in a recent open house and ribbon cutting.
We are so proud to welcome this facility to the County, and thank our Board of Supervisors, CEO, and Health Care Agency Leadership for their support.
