VENTURA — The County of Ventura and the Museum of Ventura County will be holding a series of family-friendly pop-up celebrations across the county in celebration of the 150thAnniversary of Ventura County. The pop-up celebrations will be held at larger festival events and will feature community organizations that will provide opportunities for adults and children to interact and learn more about the rich history and traditions of Ventura County. These community partners will provide opportunities for residents to participate in arts and crafts activities, enjoy performances, and learn more about Ventura County’s heritage both past and present. “We are excited to continue to partner with the Museum of Ventura County to present opportunities for residents to join in the celebration of our county’s history,” said Dr. Sevet Johnson, County Executive Officer. “The collaboration with our presenting partners and the opportunity to feature community organizations at these pop-up celebrations offers residents a chance to enjoy the creative resources in our community and learn more about the County. Our hope is this is the embodiment of celebrating our past and present together as a countywide community.”
