One Climate: Santa Barbara County’s
United Effort Against Climate Change
One Climate is a County of Santa Barbara initiative to bring together and strengthen efforts to fight climate change. It helps coordinate climate programs, share information, and involve the community, all under one clear message. One Climate has made an impact through efforts such as:
-Creating a central website to make it easier to find climate plans and programs.
-Forming a community advisory group to ensure equity and public input in long-term planning.
-Improving outreach in Spanish by working with trusted local organizations.
-Developing a shared vision to guide all climate-related efforts.
-Building tools to track progress and keep everyone informed on how plans are moving forward.
