VENTURA COUNTY — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC) is proud to announce the appointment of Phil Fingerman (Bank of America) to its volunteer Board of Directors to further the agency’s vision for youth mentorship programs in Ventura County.
Fingerman currently serves as Vice President of Business Intelligence Reporting at Bank of America, where he has also played a key role as an active participant in the Bank’s many volunteer programs and opportunities. His appointment to the Board at BBSVC reflects both his professional expertise, deep personal commitment to the organization’s mission, and drive to support the community as a whole.
Since 2020, Fingerman has been an active volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, contributing his time and insight to support youth through the agency’s Mentor Academy with Bank of America (formerly known as the Professional Mentor Program). In addition to his volunteer work, he serves on an internal committee at Bank of America that helps guide the program’s development, demonstrating his dedication to creating meaningful, strategic impact.
“I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to watch Phil’s mentoring journey and how he has helped multiple Littles in our program grow and thrive over the years. It’s a wonderful and meaningful opportunity to welcome him to our Board,” says Danica Selvaggio, BBSVC CEO. “His mentoring skills, professional experience, and long-standing support make him a natural fit to help steer our mission forward. We are excited for the leadership and deep perspective he brings.”
Fingerman’s appointment to BBSVC’s Board of Directors is effective as of July 1, 2025.
