The panelists represent varying aspects of successful business ownership and leadership:
- Marni Brook – Director of Funding, Women’s Economic Ventures – Marni spent 23 years in community banking and lending before joining WEV to fulfill her passion of working with women small business owners to help them gain confidence and achieve success and sustainability. Marni will discuss the power of leveraging funding to create, grow, and sustain small businesses.
- Lynnette Coverly – CEO, Coverly Professional Services – A courageous businesswoman with 35 years’ marketing experience, Lynnette and her husband were both products of the massive mid-2000’s layoffs. Not one to see herself as a statistic, Lynnette opened her doors in 2010, seeing a need for turnkey marketing with a project management approach. She’ll discuss the successes and pitfalls of business ownership and share marketing strategies she employs with CoverlyPro clients.
- Deborah Deras – Owner, Synergy Unlimited – From NBC to J.P Morgan to Macy’s and General Electric, Deborah has been booked by some of the biggest corporations to transform teams and empower leaders to shed limiting beliefs. Deborah will share how to realign your mindset for success and the #1 reason small business owners stay stuck.
