CAMARILLO — Welcome to the 42nd annual Wings Over Camarillo presented by Oxnard Auto Center Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 19-20 at the Camarillo Airport, 79 E. Daily Drive #265, Camarillo.
Wings Over Camarillo is back and better than ever! Our 2023 theme “Honoring Our Korean War Veterans,” commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Armistice ending the Korean conflict in 1953.
Our invited Grand Marshal is Naval Aviator, Capt. Royce Williams (ret.). He was credited with shooting down 4 Soviet Mig15 jet aircraft in 2002, almost 50 years after the event that was kept secret.
Korean Veterans and their survivors in the Ventura and surrounding counties who have not received the Ambasador for Peace Medal from the Republic of Korea are invited to apply for the medal. We hope that these may be awarded to these potential recipients at the airshow.
We will also have a display featuring the Korean conflict and the Veteran experience at the Veterans Hangar Pavilion. Send an email to Info@WingsOverCamarillo.com for more information.
Join us in celebrating our aviation heritage at Ventura County’s premiere family event.
