The District House is a benefit of District216. Come by for a portion or all of the evening, meet amazing members + guests, and interact with speakers on a variety of topics.

Topic: “Industry Self Regulation and Safe Access to Medicine: Risk Mitigation in the Era of Prohibition”

Description: With interest in psychedelics for mental wellness building momentum and two distinct treatment paths emerging (the traditional underground model and the medical model), PsiloSafe is setting standards and guidelines to mitigate risk and improve outcomes for those that choose to work within the former.

While the medical model shows great hope or some, it is the traditional treatment path that is showing the most promise and broader access. Some believe that Western Medicine, insurance companies, and the US healthcare system are as congruent for psychedelics as throwing a soccer ball onto an ice hockey rink. With two treatment pathways, it’s important that self-regulation is considered so that our community based participants stay safe.

RECAP: “Kambo, Wilka, Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, 5-MeO & more: An Evening of Earth Medicines with Heather Mack”

Heather began by sharing her own story—how a life-altering experience during her father’s illness set her on a path away from corporate America and toward a life of ceremony, healing, and service. She spoke with deep reverence about the teachers she’s met along the way: the plants, the animals, the spirits, and the people who walk the medicine path with integrity and care.

Throughout the evening, participants were encouraged to ask questions in real time. The dialogue flowed organically—touching on preparation, integration, safety, and the unique ways these medicines can guide us back to our truest selves. Heather’s responses were thoughtful and unhurried, always bringing the focus back to the Earth as our original healer and greatest teacher.

Not Your Average Myco Bros: 15 Entrepreneurs Building The Future Of Mushrooms Around The World

Jacob Tell (USA)

Jacob Tell is the founder of District216, a membership-driven psychedelic social club. The District216 family has produced numerous sold-out events in multiple cities and made a huge statement by drawing 1500 people to the recent Psychedelic Playhouse event in June of this year. In a space that is largely still in legal limbo thanks to a disjointed patchwork of policy and regulations across various cities and states in the U.S., social clubs like District216 offer a way for people to connect with other mushroom entrepreneurs and psychedelic activists in a safe and highly curated setting that includes live music, expert presenters, and an impeccable atmosphere. I even once thought I saw Tom Waits at a District216 event in a decrim city, but then I remembered the Neutropics mushroom chocolate I ate and realized it was just me looking in the mirror.

PRESS: “From Panels to Playhouse: Recapping Psychedelic Science 2025”

Written By: Kyle Rosner

MAPS Psychedelic Science 2025 wasn’t just a conference. It brought together researchers, therapists, artists, entrepreneurs, and everyday seekers to imagine a more conscious future.

But for me, the most meaningful moments happened just outside the convention center. That’s why we (District216 & Studiodelic) created the Psychedelic Playhouse—an off-campus experiment in connection, creativity, and honest community. From high-stakes startup pitches to late-night dancefloor release, it was a glimpse of where psychedelic gatherings can truly go.

This is my reflection on the week. What worked, what moved me, and what’s next.
