The event will take place on Sunday, April 27th, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ventura Charter School campus, 2060 Cameron Street, Ventura.

This free and family friendly event offers an exciting day of entertainment, hands on activities, and eco-conscious experiences. For more information, sponsorship opportunities, or to get involved, visit www.venturaecofest.org

With over 3,000 attendees in 2024, this year’s EcoFest is expected to draw an even larger crowd, bringing together local businesses, environmental organizations, nonprofits, artists, and educators in a dynamic celebration of sustainability. Attendees will enjoy:

  • Live Performances: Local musicians, dancers, and entertainers take the stage throughout the day.
  • Eco-Friendly Vendors: Explore booths featuring sustainable products, green initiatives, and educational resources.
  • Interactive Kids’ Activities: Hands-on arts and crafts, eco-games, and engaging science exhibits for young environmentalists.
  • Delicious Food & Drinks: Enjoy a variety of food trucks and locally sourced refreshments.
  • Silent Auction & Raffle: Bid on outdoor gear, entertainment tickets, yoga classes, restaurant gift cards, and more. A grand prize raffle offers$1,000 in Disney Cash and more! Pre-sale raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 from families of Ventura Charter School students or at the event. The raffle will be pulled each hour, with the grand prize drawing at 4:00 p.m. Winners do not need not be present to win.

In alignment with EcoFest’s commitment to environmental responsibility, attendees are encouraged to choose sustainable transportation options:

  • Ride public transit—students 18 and under ride free through Gold Coast Transit District’s Youth Ride Free Program (no ID required).

Proceeds from Ventura EcoFest directly support Ventura Charter School. Students engage in project-based curriculum centered upon empowerment through critical thinking, empathy, research, and action to benefit the spaces they occupy throughout their lives with inclusion and equity. This curriculum encourages students to examine their environmental impact and take meaningful action—such as student-led sustainability initiatives like reducing disposable utensil use on campus.
