SANTA BARBARA — The Community Environmental Council (CEC) will host its 2018 Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival—which is free to attend—at Alameda Park Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 22, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The 2018 festival—themed “Educate. Inspire. Act.”—will bring our community together for the first large festival since the Thomas Fire and Montecito debris flow. Join us to connect the dots between climate change and the solutions we can put in place locally for a climate-resilient future with two full days of live music and speakers on three stages, sustainable food, wine & beer garden, opportunities to connect dots between climate change & solutions, a Kids Corner and Kids Passport stops throughout the festival, Green Car Show with electric car and bike test drives, Environmental Hero & Youth Awards, public art & activism projects, and 200+ eco-conscious exhibitors.
