April 13 — Zoom meeting for Democratic Club of the Conejo Valley

REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING!
Monday, April 13, 2020 @ 6:30pm
only on ZOOM

Justine Fischer on the Census; Bob Engler on the City’s response to the pandemic
Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Democrats,

The last month has been a blur: the elections, schoolboard speed dating, social distancing, and toilet paper. Lots and lots of toilet paper. (Where did all those rolls go?)  And all the while we have been adjusting to the uncertainty of the time. I keep thinking of a phrase I often use around election time… “E Pluribus Unum – Out of many one”. Now, more than ever, this phrase rings true. Even though we are separated and spread throughout the Conejo Valley, we are all in this together. We are one CLUB, one Community, one Conejo Valley. We need to make sure we are taking every opportunity to utilize our CLUB, Community, and Valley. Please know our CLUB is there for you and those around you who might need assistance with getting groceries, checking in on a loved one or neighbor, or just talking to someone about what is going on. If this is you and you need some help, please reach out to the Dem Club (dccv.eboard@gmail.com) or call 805-380-6825, and we will ALL work together to find a way to help.

In the spirit of “E Pluribus Unum”, we will be holding our first virtual CLUB ZOOM meeting on Monday, April 13th. SAVE THE DATE! As usual, the room will open at 6:30 to give you time to logon and adjust if needed. The meeting will start promptly at 7pm with the usual agenda items.  Our traditional guest speaker this month is Justine Fischer, who will give an update on the Census and explain how you can help. Please stay tuned for more information about the meeting. On behalf of the Executive Board, we hope you will make it.

Sincerely,
Henry Montalvo
President, Democratic Club of the Conejo Valley
