CENTRAL COAST — Applications are now available for Guadalupe Court, Peoples’ Self-Help Housing’s (PSHH) newest affordable housing for farmworkers in Guadalupe, CA. Primary applicants must earn a substantial portion of income from farm labor (more than $5,753 per year), and be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
Applications are available in-person from Riverview Townhomes, located at 230 Calle Cesar E. Chavez, Guadalupe, CA by email at

Completed applications can be submitted in person beginning Friday, February 28 from 12 noon to 7pm, at the Riverview Townhomes. Each application will be time and date stamped and added to the waiting list in the order received. All mailed applications will subsequently added and processed beginning Monday, March 2.
Guadalupe Court offers 38 rental units, an outdoor courtyard with barbecue area, and an innovative playground and community center. The site also includes site-based educational programs with after-school tutoring and college prep. The platinum level ‘Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) has net-zero energy features and a greywater irrigation system.
Funding partners for Guadalupe Court include the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Equity Fund, Chase, California Community Reinvestment Corp., and NeighborWorks America. Development partners include CSA Architects, Civil Design Studio, and Robert Andrew Fowler Landscape Architecture.
Please note that USDA regulations direct that applications be processed in the order received and not by lottery. Applications received in person on Friday February 28, will be processed before any received by mail before or after that date.
