Take to the sea with Island Packers as it celebrates the best of California’s extended summer with a special one-hour scenic cruise on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM aboard a 64’ catamaran in Ventura Harbor. Get Ready for Ventura’s Vintage Volkswagens to Invade The Harbor October Car Show, and gear up for some retro family fun in the sun and celebrate the culture of one of California’s favorite vehicles on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10 AM – 2 PM. Sponsored by Airhead Parts, Ventura’s local VW parts supplier, VW lovers can also enjoy live blues entertainment on the Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn with Delta By the Beach, playing tunes 11 AM to 2 PM. National Hispanic Heritage Month
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Ventura Harbor is offering special live music on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from Noon – 2 PM along the Village Promenade. As part of the event, visitors come together to recognize and salute the rich tapestry of diverse cultures, languages, traditions, contributions and extensive histories of Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain. At Noon – 1 PM, enjoy live music, and at 1 PM, local Ojai Columbian dancer, Alexandra Tracy Chavarriaga, performs demonstrations of Cumbia, Salsa, Samba, and Puya, sharing her knowledge of dance and culture.
