| The morning session consisted of a live exercise centered around the Port’s ability to come into operational compliance in the event of an increased MARSEC level. The training demonstrated how this goal would be feasible and covered scenarios involving operational ability with different levels of staffing, testing communication methods and managing potential press inquiries. The afternoon session consisted of a tabletop discussion with port operators and regional partners focusing on both their roles and responsibilities in the event of an increased security posture and the impact of resource availability.
