VENTURA — Local oil company Aera Energy LLC is celebrating the spirit of the season in a big way! In alignment with the global day of giving, the company celebrated their employee contributions and made a donation to the United Way of Ventura County.
Since 2004, employee contributions totaled $182,000 and corporate contributions totaled $212,000. Aera Energy is a long-time supporter of United Way of Ventura County and outside of corporate and employee giving, regularly supports United Way through volunteerism, with employees donating countless hours to volunteer during United Way’s annual Day of Caring and Stuff the Bus events.
Aera Energy is proud to support United Way of Ventura County this year with a corporate contribution totaling $20,000. Combined with donations to organizations around the state, Aera’s total donation this year was $150,000 to several United Way of California agencies.
