Topic: “Psychedelic Hospitality: The Art of Crafting Community Containers”
Description: What makes a gathering truly transformational isn’t just who shows up — it’s how the space is held. In this workshop, you’ll learn the art and science of crafting intentional containers that support deep connection, safety, and growth.
Led by Erica Siegal, LCSW — a harm reduction leader and event production consultant with over 15 years of experience in festivals and intentional psychedelic communities — this offering weaves together the principles of hospitality, safety, and design. Erica brings her expertise from the frontlines of large-scale events and intimate community spaces, helping participants master the subtle yet powerful skills of hosting environments where transformation can thrive.
You’ll walk away with:
- Practical tools for creating safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed spaces.
- Insights into design and flow that optimize group dynamics and personal transformation.
- A deeper understanding of the role of the host as both steward and catalyst for collective experience.
Whether you’re an event producer, facilitator, or community builder, this workshop will help you refine your presence, elevate your offerings, and embody the art of psychedelic hospitality.

Decriminalize Nature Santa Barbara — Join the Movement!
|
|
| We’ve launched a community-driven initiative to decriminalize and expand access to entheogenic plants and fungi within the City of Santa Barbara. Our mission is rooted in healing, education, and local political action — and we need your help to make it real. Please take the next step and click the “JOIN” button at www.decriminalizenaturesantabarbara.org to become an official supporter. It’s free, fast, and powerful.
Why are we asking for your support?
We met with City Council members and they are most interested in issues that are most important to their constituents. Having a count of registered voters by Voting District will allow us to successfully persuade them of the importance to this community. The risk is lowered with decriminalization and we need your support to get this done.
Immediate Volunteer Opportunities
We’re looking for community members ready to share their time, skills, and energy:
- Advocates: Help mobilize supportive voters and increase turnout at local government meetings.
- Social Media Creators: Design shareable templates and assist with posting and outreach, messaging, website updates.
- Video Storytellers: Create short videos for city council meetings and social platforms.
- Data Analysts: Help us interpret data and craft persuasive, evidence-based messages.
Entheogenic plants and fungi — including psilocybin mushrooms, cacti, ayahuasca, and iboga — inspire deep healing and spiritual growth. Together, let’s decriminalize access to these natural medicines and foster a healthier, more compassionate community. |

RECAP: “I Am The Breath: A Somatic Micro Experience with Ella & Christian Light”
|
|
| From the very first moments, the energy in the room felt grounded yet electric—a calm anticipation for what was to unfold. Christian and Ella shared their story of merging ancient wisdom with modern wellness, introducing the power of micro breathwork as a bridge between the physical and the mystical. “The breath is our first medicine,” they reminded us, “and when combined with a microdose, it becomes a key to unlocking the I AM within.”
Following the conversation, the group settled in for a guided microdosed breathwork session—a somatic journey through rhythm, release, and renewal. Eyes closed, bodies relaxed, and breath synchronized, the entire space began to hum with presence. You could feel it: a collective exhale from the soul.
Participants described feeling waves of emotion, vivid insights, and deep connection to self and source. For some, it was their first time accessing this level of awareness through breath alone; for others, it was a homecoming. As one participant shared, “It felt like the medicine was breathing me. |
