Nov. 28 — 75th annual Santa Paula holiday parade celebrates town’s history

Santa Paula businesses and non-profit orgs join together to present family-friendly evening parade


SANTA PAULA —
Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 75th Annual Santa Paula Holiday Parade, celebrating 75 years of holiday magic in historic downtown Santa Paula. The parade kicks of the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 28 from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Presented by Santa Paula’s leading businesses and non-profit organizations, this year’s Santa Paula Holiday Parade will light up Main Street with themed community floats, performances from local youth organizations, and crowd favorites such as classic cars, dancing horses and the award-winning Santa Paula High School marching  band.

Gloria Martinez, Board Chair for the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce, said, “The Santa Paula Holiday” Parade is one of our most treasured traditions and a reflection of the heart, pride, and cultural richness of our community. As we celebrate the 75th annual parade, we honor not only our history but also the spirit of  togetherness that continues to define Santa Paula. This 75th milestone year is a special opportunity to welcome neighbors from across the region to experience the beauty, diversity and unity that make our city so special.”

Santa Paula, known as the Citrus Capital of the World, is located in the heart of the Santa Clara River Valley. The city hosts community events such as the Santa Paula Art & Photography Show in February, the Citrus Festival in July, and the Taste of Santa Paula in October. Visitors can stroll along historic Main Street, explore the  vintage Santa Paula Airport, tour the California Oil Museum, stay at the famed Glen Tavern Inn, and experiencenthe Santa Paula Train Depot and Railroad Plaza Park, plus the largest collection of historic residential and  commercial buildings in Ventura County, making it a destination where history and culture thrive year-round. The 75th annual Santa Paula holiday parade kicks off a series of holiday events in Santa Paula including the Odd Fellows train display and Small Business Saturday family-friendly events on Saturday, November 29.
