Zach Gill from Jack Johnson and ALO Joins the September 27 Benefit
CARPINTERIA — Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Trevor Hall will headline Rescue Rhythms, the inaugural benefit concert that raises awareness and funds toward building a cage-free sanctuary with integrated human healing spaces. The event will take place September 27, 2025, from 1 to 8 PM at the Santa Barbara Polo Club Fields.
The lineup features Zach Gill from Animal Liberation Orchestra alongside rising West Coast acts including Alex Amen, The Takes, Tommy Drinkard and the Remedy, and Maritime Law. Hall, whose albums consistently debut in iTunes’ top 3, brings his spiritual folk-reggae sound to support this groundbreaking animal welfare vision.
“This gathering reflects the intersection of music, healing, and compassion,” said Hall, a leader in the conscious music community whose humanitarian work spans India and Nepal. “Creating a sanctuary where both animals and humans find healing resonates with my spiritual path.”
With 5.8 million dogs and cats entering U.S. shelters in 2024 and only 3 percent of charitable donations supporting animal organizations, the festival addresses a critical need while bringing together conscious music fans from across the Central Coast region.
The planned sanctuary will feature open-concept healing spaces for rescued dogs, integrated yoga and meditation areas, therapeutic programs connecting animal and human healing, and sustainable construction practices that reflect California’s environmental priorities.
The festival transforms the historic 25-acre venue into an immersive experience featuring adoptable dogs from local rescues, a Montessori-inspired kids zone, the signature Farmer & The Flea artisan market, and wellness programming including yoga and sound healing.
Zach Gill, multi-instrumentalist from the Jack Johnson Band and frontman of the Animal Liberation Orchestra, has performed everywhere from Saturday Night Live to Glastonbury Festival and the 2008 Presidential Inauguration, bringing his diverse musical talents to support the cause.
