FOOD Share — Ventura County’s Food Bank, will hold a meeting for potential volunteers at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10 and 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at 4156 Southbank Road, Oxnard.
FOOD Share has many opportunities to help and support the work of feeding Ventura County’s hungry friends and neighbors, the organization stated in a media release. Come learn more about ways to be involved at an informational meeting & orientation.
Each month, FOOD Share participates in a number of Ventura County events including food and wine festivals, local fairs, and community celebrations. Help us share information about our work in the community while gaining valuable event and leadership experience! Positions include Event Volunteer Lead Coordinators as well as Event Support Volunteers.
Events Volunteer Team:
• Work with and meet new people
• Attend local events and festivals
• Gain experience in event coordination
• Take initiative in serving as an advocate for FOOD Share and our work
in the community
