VENTURA COUNTY — For the first time since the pandemic, we are excited to announce the much-awaited return of Aviation Career Day for Ventura County High School and Middle School Students on Friday, Oct. 18, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Camarillo Airport.
This event aims to introduce students to the world of aviation and aerospace and provide them with a glimpse of the exciting STEM-related careers available in this field.
The aviation industry is rapidly growing and in constant need of skilled professionals. With advancements in technology and an ever-growing demand for air travel, there has never been a better time to explore these opportunities.
The event will feature prominent aviation professionals that are cutting-edge in their fields, along with military and government agencies, and schools and universities that provide the needed education. Hands-on activities will include drone flying and flight simulators with prominent local experts
Not only will students have the chance to interact with aviation professionals they will also gain valuable insight into the day of a life, qualifications, and training required for these roles. This hands-on experience will not only be informative but also help them make informed decisions about their future.
