CENTRAL COAST — In an inspiring act of community service and holiday spirit, Central Coast Moving & Storage, a prominent local and long-distance moving company with headquarters in Paso Robles and a satellite location in Santa Maria, has once again exemplified their commitment to the North County of San Luis Obispo. Following the success of last year’s initiative, the company has escalated its impact by generously donating 200 turkeys to families in need for the holiday season.

This significant contribution was made possible in partnership with People’s Self-Help Housing (PSHH) and the El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO). The turkey distribution event, conducted on November 17th, marked a high point in the collaborative efforts to support local communities during the festive season.

Central Coast Moving & Storage’s CEO and Founder, Austin Yarborough, shared his thoughts on the initiative: “Last year we had tremendous success partnering with these outstanding organizations to assist families in our community. This year, we aimed to double our impact by donating 200 turkeys. As a local business, we cherish every opportunity to give back during the holidays to the community that has consistently supported us.”

The event was also made possible thanks to the support of Sysco Corporation, a leading global foodservice distribution company serving the Central Coast. Their contribution was vital in sourcing the high-quality turkeys for donation. Special acknowledgment goes to Anthony Almaguer, a distinguished team member at Sysco Corporation, for his instrumental role in facilitating this partnership.

Key representatives from ECHO and PSHH were integral to the success of this event. Austin Solheim, manager, and Wendy Lewis, CEO, represented ECHO, while PSHH was represented by Kelly Rubio and Ken Trigueiro, their CEO.

Central Coast Moving & Storage’s initiative, supported by Sysco Corporation, not only reflects the company’s dedication to top-tier moving services but also highlights their deep-rooted commitment to making a tangible difference in the community. This act of generosity during the holiday season has brought warmth and sustenance to numerous families, showcasing the impact of collaborative community efforts.
