Commentary: Hope For 2012

By Michael and Stephen Szakos / Guest contributors

All of us on Team Szakos hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends and we wish you nothing but the best for 2012!

As we read in the news, watch on TV or hear from neighbors, friends and family, foreclosures are still happening, even during the holidays. We urge you to contact us now. Don’t wait until the second or third week in January when it may be too late to save your home. We can offer you FREE assistance and counsel.

Just last week, a gentlemen came into Café on A in Oxnard and told us about an attorney who wanted $4,500 up front to stall the sale of his home and file for bankruptcy. He was to pay this person the very next day! We informed him that it was a scam and we were able to offer him FREE assistance.

We want to commend each of our clients and listeners for taking action and seeking help with their housing situations. It takes courage to take the steps to move forward. We know how stressful life can be and how it affects those around you, those closest to you, your family.

Please contact us today. We have meetings at 8 p.m. every Wednesday at Café on A, 438 So. A St., Oxnard. We look forward to meeting you. Remember, there is hope. You are not alone. The information we offer you is FREE and without obligation.
