How is Kantha Jewelry sustainably made? Artisans carve beads from wood scraps. Next, they cover the beads with repurposed Kantha and Sari fabric. Then, they create amazingly tactile jewelry using the colorful textile beads.
Fair trade work creates incredible change in artisan communities in India. Fair trade means fair wages, long-term partnerships, safe working conditions, health care and child care, and sustainable practices.
