MUSEUM RECAP

Bye, July!

There was something fun for everyone at SPAM in July. Over 200 guests joined artists Hiroko Yoshimoto, W. Scott Miles, and Tori Tasch at the premiere of Hiroko Yoshimoto: New Works featuring Blue Marble Art Collective.

While she was in town for the premiere, Wisconsin-based artist Tori Tasch led a special Free Family Day event where she taught 50 families how to make handmade paper.

Our three July Art Camps saw campers get their hands dirty (in the best way possible) with pottery projects led by teaching artists Patti Keller and Roxanne Casas.

A huge thank you goes out to Debra and Stephen Cummings of Cummings Ranch in Santa Paula who included the Museum in their first-ever ArtWalk at the Ranch event. Over 200 guests enjoyed an afternoon of art and music at the stunning location, with a percentage of artist sales benefiting SPAM.
