HEALTHY SOILS PROGRAM
The Health Soils Program (HSP) Incentives Program provides financial assistance to California growers and ranchers for implementation of conservation management that improve soil health, sequester carbon and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Application Window CLOSES Friday, February 25!
Grant Award:
Growers and ranchers may request up to $100,000 to implement on-farm healthy soils practices.
Eligibility:
  • HSP Incentives application is open to all farms and ranchers.
  • There is no acreage minimum or maximum.
  • Specific soil management practices are eligible for funding: on farm management practices that include but are not limited to: cover cropping, no-till, reduced-till, mulching, compost application, and conservation plantings.
