Visiting artist Andres Flores will provide a special Son Jarocho Workshop from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Arts for Action, 535 So. C St., Oxnard.
There is a $5 requested donation.
Flores is from Coatzalcoalcos Veracruz and has traveled and performed with the groups Chuchumbe and Quemayama, according to a media release. He also works to revive the son jarocho tradition in Coatzalcoalcos by teaching youth and adults and organizing fandangos.
