Latino links: Educational trends

The number of 18- to 24-year-olds attending college hit an all-time high of 12.2 million in October 2010. A good part of that grow was attributed to a 24 percent jump in Hispanic enrollement, according to a report by the Pew Hispanic Center in Washington, D.C.

Hispanics reported the biggest jump in enrollment from 2009 to 2010 compared with young blacks and young Asian-Americans, the center reported.
