Family Friendly Workshop
Seed Paper Tutorial
Saturday, January 30, 2021 @ 11AM PST

Enjoy a morning of learning how to give your paper waste a new life as seed paper! We will be demonstrating how to transform everyday waste into paper that can be used to make artwork, cards, gift tags, note paper and other crafts that can later be planted in the earth! This event is free to all and we encourage people of all ages to attend.

Perfect Match Campaign

Thank you to our amazing donors for supporting our Perfect Match campaign. Your support carried us through 2020 and into the new year! We raised over $87,000 in generous donations from 94 contributors. Thank you for continuing to support MCASB and our efforts to provide Santa Barbara and the Central Coast with exhibitions and programming that encourage discovery and challenge the way we see and experience the world, ourselves, and each other.

Coming soon to Santa Barbara: BCycle

We are so thrilled to welcome our friends BCycle to Santa Barbara! BCycle is a new bike share system that will place 250 electric bikes in Santa Barbara, which members of the public will be able to unlock from and return to 30 station locations across the city. We support BCycle’s mission to provide a more efficient and environmentally friendly mode of transportation for Santa Barbara!

Stations are currently being installed, but you can get a head start and purchase your membership today! Learn more more about BCycle, their efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, and how to get started.
