The Ventura County Food Truck & Bocce Ball Festival on Sunday, July 24 will feature gourmet food trucks from Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, four live music performances and an exclusive VIP lounge, organizers reported in a media release.

Classic rock, pop, rhythmic guitar and disco covers will be performed by Lee Koch & The Grinders, Dr. M and Todd Hannigan, who is best known for providing orignal tracks to top surf films and collaborating alongside Jack Johnson. The Shoemaker Brothers will also return to add their signature folk-rock sound to the festival, organizers reported.

Professional bocce ball courts will host 24 teams each with four members in a single-elimination tournament. The tournament is open to all levels of play, from beginner to professional. Team entry is $125 and includes entry to the festival and access to the VIP lounge. The first-place team will win a $500 grand prize.

More than $1,200 guests attended the inaugural event on June 12. The third and final festival in the summer series will take place Aug. 21. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit FOOD Share Ventura County.

Tickets are $15 online presale or $20 at the door, $10 for children 6 to 12 and free to children 5 and under. Visit http://www.boccefestival.com for more information.
