Oxnard Performing Arts Center to Celebrate Graduates this Month

OXNARD — This week the Oxnard Performing Arts Center Corporation (The PACC) has announced its plans to celebrate all the hardworking graduates who are missing out on their formal ceremonies with low-cost professional photography sessions and the chance to win an all-expenses paid ‘Ultimate Grad Party’ through a raffle.

The PACC has been home to graduations of all kinds – middle and high schools, fire and police departments, and more – since it opened in 1968. Understanding how difficult this year has been for graduates, the PACC nonprofit has partnered with Party Starz to host three days of Graduation Photography, May 28-30 from 9 am to 3 pm. Reservations are required.

Each graduate will receive a custom alumni face mask, an entry ticket for the Ultimate Grad Party raffle, and a set of photos. This program is open to any graduate: pre-school, kindergarten, middle school, high school, or college/ university student. A balloon arch and a DJ will welcome graduates to their photo session in style.

Thanks to Party Starz, the raffle winner will have their Graduation Party at The PACC in 2021 or when permissible by law. It will include a 6-hour event for 100 people, all decorations, taco bar and beverages, and live entertainment with a professional DJ.

Packages start at $64 and part of the proceeds will benefit The PACC nonprofit, which had to close its doors for events in mid-March due to COVID-19. The PACC is inviting the public to ‘Sponsor a Grad’ who deserves their moment in the spotlight, but due to circumstances may not be in a position to afford such an experience. Donations can be made on the PACC website.

Space is limited while we adhere to social distancing and cleaning protocols. Only the graduate and a +1 may enter the facility at a time. Register and/or donate online by May 18: oxnardperformingarts.com/graduation.html
