July 17 — Ventura County Civic Alliance Announces 2019 State of the Region Report Launch

The State of the Region Report is an in-depth study of our county across 10 categories and is presented every two years. It is utilized by business, education and community leaders along with government officials, the public and the press to understand key information and trends.

VENTURA — The community can now purchase tickets to hear about Ventura County’s most recent trends and data as the Ventura County Civic Alliance puts on a morning release event to launch their biennial State of the Region Report on July 17th at California Lutheran University (CLU). There will also be a reception Aug. 7th at the Museum of Ventura County.

The State of the Region Report provides a unique perspective on Ventura County through independently researched and interpreted data that reflects the quality of life in Ventura County. About the Ventura County Civic Alliance: Founded in 2001, the Ventura County Civic Alliance is a coalition of civic leaders with a shared commitment to the three E’s — the Economic, Environmental and social Equity interests of our region. This balance ensures that our research and community dialogue is embedded with a broad and diverse set of perspectives and priorities.

The Alliance holds a set of core beliefs that guides its mission: regional stewardship, open dialogue, collaboration, evenhandedness, unbiased research, and community building and decision making by consensus. We bring together residents and civic organizations to cooperatively explore options and find integrated solutions to the complex economic, environmental and social challenges of our region.
