President’s Message
Dear Friends,
May is a month filled with community activity, from graduations and social gatherings to an array of community events. As we approach the end of our fiscal year on June 30, I invite you to renew your annual gift to United Way or to make an additional contribution to help your fellow community members.
Your continued support will ensure that our programs continue to thrive, creating lifechanging impacts for the underserved. Here are just a few examples of how your gift will help improve lives:
  • Single mothers living in poverty will receive educational awards from Women United to pursue higher education.
  • Parents of children who need a dental home and don’t know where to turn because their dentist doesn’t take their insurance will be connected to a dental home thanks to our Building Healthy Smiles initiative.
  • Our VITA tax-assistance program will help thousands of individuals receive substantial refunds from the Earned Income Tax Credit that they can then deposit into their savings or use for basic needs.

Your support helps sustain these vital programs and initiatives. Can we count on you? Live heroic and give generously today. Donate online or text UWVC to 91999.

In service,
Eric Harrison
President & CEO
