Santa Paula Art Museum update for Feb. 3 — Student Show Opens

JEANETTE COLE ART CENTER & COLE CREATIVITY CENTER
iSpy Joy
During school tours, we supply young visitors with iPads and close-up images from our exhibits, and they search for the matching artwork. Their joy in finding the matching artwork is incredibly contagious.
See Art, Make Art
Inside our new self-portrait exhibition, we installed an art-making station so that visitors can create their own self-portrait to add to the exhibit. Tips and tools are provided.
Student Show Opens
Students from Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai and their parents enjoyed the opening reception of their new exhibit Expressions Through Contours and Colorwhich hangs in our student gallery.
Rainy Day Premiere
The rain cleared just long enough for us to celebrate the premiere of our new exhibit, I Am Me: Artists’ Self-Portraits on Saturday evening. It was a great turnout. The show is on view now through May 12.
Spreading the Love
On Sunday, artist Karen Browdy will be at the Museum to share her passion for collage with Valentine art activities during Free Family Day. Families can drop in from 12pm to 3pm and make art together.
