SANTA BARBARA — Every year, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara hosts a Community Leaders Luncheon in December to recognize Scholarship Foundation donors and volunteers. This year, featured speakers included Miguel Cruz, a Scholarship Foundation recipient and former SBCC student, now a student at California State University Channel Islands. Cruz, an aspiring social worker, captured the spirit of the occasion in his remarks.
