Pacific Sound Men’s Chorus presents this exciting show intended for all ages, filled with music, laughs, and the wonderful sound of Barbershop Harmony. Bringing with them the Top 10 International quartet, The Newfangled Four, for a one day only, two-show engagement to Santa Barbara. They will be joined by the 2017 Sweet Adelines International Small Chorus Champions, Carpe Diem Chorus, and fantastic chapter quartets.

Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story

Love & BananasAn Elephant Story: Embark on a daring 48-hour mission, 500 miles across Thailand, to rescue a 70-year old captive Asian elephant and bring her to freedom. Film Director Ashley Bell and World Renowned Elephant Activist “Lek” Chailert will share their experiences with these beautiful, endangered animals in a discussion and Q&A following the film.

¡Viva el Arte de Santa Bárbara! opens the 14th season of FREE family concerts and community outreach with Juno award-winner Quique Escamilla performing original songs in Spanish and English inspired by the political and social issues of today. Originally from Chiapas, Mexico, this multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter blends Mexican folk music such as huapango and rancheras with jazz, pop, rock and ska. Quique Escamilla – Music will perform with his quartet! The Marjorie Luke Theatre and UCSB Arts & Lectures present this FREE family show as part of the Viva el Arte SB concert series.
