Through Oct. 30 — Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Volunteer Training

VENTURA COUNTY — Join Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association’s remarkable corps of volunteers–community heroes that give the gifts of time and compassion to patients and their families at the end of life.

You will be provided with training to give you confidence to enter the homes and lives of hospice patients, bringing support and companionship. You will work with Livingston’s Hospice Team which includes nurses, therapists, social workers, chaplains, and home health aides.

Training begins Tuesday, September 11th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and continues for eight consecutive weeks through October 30th. It will take place at Camarillo Hospice, 400 Rosewood Ave., Suite 102, Camarillo.
