Camarillo Hospice announces new groups in August

CAMARILLO — Camarillo Hospice has announced new groups in August.

Healing Grief through Meditation: Mondays August 6, 13, 20, and 27 12:00 to 1:15 pm

Meditation can help reduce the pain that comes with grief and loss. This class will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop your own meditative practices, which will assist you in engaging your grief work mindfully as well as caring for your body and soul.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Healing Grief through Journaling: August 13th-September 24th 3:00 to 4:30 pm

Many of us don’t talk about our grief because of the reaction of others. We can find that even those people closest to us are unable to empathize because they haven’t experienced our loss. Journaling can provide an avenue to be open and honest about your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. This group will offer you the opportunity to write about and share your grief in a supportive and safe environment. Through discussion, support and writing, we hope members will grow in their understanding of their grief and find a path towards healing.

REFISTRATION REQUIRED
