CAMARILLO — Studio Channel Islands will present a new pop-up exhibit, “Burned, But Not Forgotten,” through May 12 at the Blackboard Gallery, 2222 Ventura Blvd., Camarillo. The exhibit shares photographs and video as seen through the lenses of two students from California State University, Channel Islands, who had special access to the fire department during the Thomas Fire. They took portraits of the crew, made film interviews and garnered mobile phone footage from the crews.

“We should all look forward to seeing this exhibit that documents the heroic efforts to fight the largest fire in California history, as well as the sad and terrible losses suffered by so many residents of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties,” said Camarillo Mayor Charlotte Craven.

Admission is free. For more information, visit www.studiochannelislands.org or call 805-383-1368.
