Connecting the Dots Conference
This thought-provoking conference will tie together important themes and trends from the Civic Alliance’s 2017 State of the Region report and explore potential solutions to Ventura County’s future challenges.
The highly respected 2017 State of the Region report analyzed local data to spotlight trends and quality of life indicators in our region. Used by government officials, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and many others, the report provides unbiased data impacting our community.
The conference will build on this data by presenting notable speakers who will connect the dots from the report and share their experiences working on innovative solutions to similar challenges in their own industries and regions.
 
Conference Speakers:
Dr. Joshua L. Schank, Chief Innovation Officer, Office of Extraordinary Innovation, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Dr. Beatriz Solis, Program Director, Healthy Communities, California Endowment
Dr. Sundar Sundareswaran, Vice President,Teledyne Scientific
 
Local experts and leaders in technology, transportation and public health will
participate in a lively panel discussion following guest speakers.
