April 24 — VCCDC’s Know Your Fair Housing Rights Workshop

VENTURA COUNTY – The Ventura County Community Development Corporation (VCCDC) will be hosting a free Fair Housing online workshop in collaboration with the Housing Rights Center on Tuesday, April 24th at 6pm via a free live online workshop.

This is a free workshop open to anyone interested in learning about the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords. Attendees can join the webinar from the comfort of their own home to learn about fair housing laws, illegal practices and tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Federal and State fair housing laws
  • Common forms of housing discrimination
  • Eviction
  • Rental Increases
  • Security Deposits
  • Repairs
  • And more!
