OXNARD – The California Welcome Center (CWC) located at the Collection Shopping Center in Oxnard is featuring local artist, Patty Faux now through February 1, 2017. Her work is currently on display at the CWC and a “Meet the Artist’ welcome reception for Faux will take place on Friday, January 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The community is welcome to attend the event which will include a drawing for a free photo shoot and the opportunity to win two of Faux’s prints.

About Patty Faux
A Ventura County resident for the last 14 years, Patty Faux has a passion for travelling and is known for capturing pictures of nature and people. She enjoys capturing Ventura County’s natural surroundings including the surrounding farms and majestic Channel Islands. She started her photography at the age of 19 and her photos have evolved from film to digital. She especially enjoys taking pictures of beauty that surround her. “My passion for photography has been present since I was a teenager,” states Patty. “I love the outdoors, and whether it is the beautiful light of a scenic picture or a candid moment of a child, or a person’s face, I am compelled to preserve that moment in time,” she added.
