OXNARD — The Century 16 Movie Theater at The Collection will celebrate Community Day on August 20th by screening three family friendly movies and selling discounted concessions from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to benefit WE Charity, an international charity that inspires young people in the US and abroad to help to lift communities out of poverty worldwide.
Century 16 will be featuring the free movies from DreamWorks Animation, including “Home,” “Shrek,” and “Kung Fu Panda 3” for guests on a first come, first served basis. All pre-packaged candy, small drinks and small popcorns will only cost $2 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for all movie screenings, with 100% of proceeds going to WE Charities.
