OXNARD — Ventura Harley-Davidson has joined El Centrito Family Learning Centers to the organization raise $8,000 during its five-day fundraising campaign to launch its after school STEAM Academy, the organization reported Friday.
“Donate now and it will be matched by Ventura Harley-Davidson up to $1,000!” El Centrito officials reported in a media release. “Double your impact from today until Monday by joining our STEAM Team of students, parents and mentors in our five day fundraiser to support our education & leadership services. ”
A $25 donation will help one student attend the academy.
El Centrito’s STEAM Academy focuses on building students’ skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and math,and 21st Century skills that strengthen long-term success and wellness, the organization reported.
