OXNARD — Volunteers are needed to support Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project community annual Día de los Niños meeting on Saturday, April 27 at Harrington Elementary School, 2501 S. Gisler St., Oxnard and Rio Real Elementary School, 1140 Kenny St., Oxnard.
“We will be at both locations setting up and packing food bags at 2 p.m. The fun will begin between 3 and 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at both schools. We can use your help,” Donna Foster, operations manager, stated in a media release. “This is a fun meeting for everyone, so please come and join us if you are able to. Please RSVP if possible. If not you’re always welcome to show up on the day of the event to help out. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hope to see you there! ”
