805 UNCOCUFund — 2026: From Response to Resilience

Dear Friends & Supporters,

As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on how far we have come — and where we are headed.

If the past few years have taught us anything, it is this: we cannot rely on systems that were never designed to protect undocumented and mixed-status families. And yet, through collective leadership, love, and courage, our community continues to build what did not exist before.

At 805UndocuFund, we did not just respond to crisis in 2025 — we built power.

2025 Key Accomplishments

Advocacy & Policy Wins

As the conveners of the 805 Immigrant Coalition and through coordinated advocacy, 805Undocufund and partner organizations such as CAUSE, MICOP, Future Leaders of America (FLA), Buen Vecino, Immigrant Legal Defense Center (ILDC), Indivisible Santa Barbara, The Fund for Santa Barbara, and many others, local jurisdictions across Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties allocated over $1.9 million toward immigrant support, legal defense, mental health, and emergency relief.

Direct Aid & Financial Relief (2025)

In moments of disaster and enforcement escalation, our community did not wait.

The Rapid Response Network continues to serve as critical, life-saving infrastructure during enforcement escalations.

Alert System Expenses: $50,059.58
RR Database Contacts: 34,872

Hotline Activity:

  • Calls (Inbound & Outbound): 24,660

  • Texts Sent/Received: 125,984

Behind every number is a family seeking information, protection, and reassurance. Rapid Response is not just communication — it is coordinated community safety.

Looking Ahead to 2026

This year is not about reacting to crisis. It is about strengthening the infrastructure that protects families long-term.

In 2026, we will:

  • Expand and deepen Rapid Response coordination across the tri-county region

  • Strengthen internal systems to ensure sustainability and accountability

  • Advance policy advocacy through the 805 Immigrant Coalition

  • Increase Emergency Assistance capacity

  • Continue centering leadership rooted in lived experience

We remain grounded in one truth: when systems exclude, communities innovate.

805UndocuFund was born out of exclusion during the Thomas Fire. What began as survival has grown into a tri-county safety net and advocacy infrastructure. We did not just distribute aid — we built power.

Thank you for trusting us, standing with us, and helping us strengthen what protects our community.
